Welcome to the Hull Law Review, the Law School’s student-edited journal dedicated to fostering the culture of legal research and advancing the academic excellence of the Law school. The Journal is edited by an Editorial Board selected through a transparent process and appointed for each academic year. A panel of peer reviewers is also appointed from amongst the Law School’s academic staff, PhD candidates, research fellows, graduate teaching assistants and from other institutions. The overall process of the journal is supervised by a Faculty Member from the School.
Established with a commitment to excellence, integrity, and innovation, the Hull Law Review serves as a platform for students, academics, and legal professionals to engage in rigorous analysis and critical inquiry.
As a double-blind peer-reviewed law journal, we uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and impartiality. Our editorial process ensures that submissions undergo thorough evaluation by other students who have undergone rigorous training, maintaining anonymity for both authors and reviewers to safeguard the integrity of the review process.
Driven by a passion for legal scholarship and intellectual exploration, the Hull Law Review seeks to publish articles that contribute to the advancement of legal theory, practice, and policy. Our diverse range of topics aims to encompass various legal disciplines.
Committed to promoting inclusivity and diversity, we strive to amplify underrepresented voices and perspectives within the legal community. Through our publication, we aim to develop the skills of our students, and to contribute to the developing world of legal research.
